One of the key constraints in the designs is the possible navigation issues some users may have, issues which are depending on the type of device the client is using. In my opinion, designs 7 and 8 will not work in the designed way across different devices due to their mapping and layout, this maybe effected on devices such as smaller and older mobile phones. This could lead to usability problems, as users may experience difficulty navigating through the companion app. These issues could cause confusion and ruin the user’s ability to access the content on the companion app, overall leading to a poor user experience. Although even if display does not cause issues on certain devices, users may have trouble navigating due to poor mobile skills, to benefit these potential users help buttons will be available at every point. Guiding the user to access everything they wish to access.

My low fidelity layout has been made through the use of fig jam, and every part of this design each has its own explanation to why and how customers can be happy with this layout and style if they was to see this when using the companion app for my event. The layout size and style I have chosen is how this would appear on a tablet or iPad for example. The layout itself is consistent and as a home landing page has everything that the customer needs to understand the event and how they can move forward. All content can be see clearly and mapped out in an organised fashion on the right side of the layout, not in the way of any additional features and information.

The ticket page is intended t be the other main part of the app as this is the first stage to getting into the event, yet again this is mapped out in a fashion which isn’t too confusing for the user and follows a consistent format to the landing page. Key information is placed around the page such as the ticket limit with features such as the “+1” and “-1” buttons to add or remove tickets also being placed in a visible location. If the user requires any additional information a button is placed in the bottom to aid them with any other questions they may have.
